    A: Anti-icing is the application of an ice prevention liquid that prevents ice from forming and bonding to surfaces. AntiIce increases traction and reduces slip and fall problems associated with ice build up.

    A: Yes, but it takes 4 to 5 times as much product to burn away the snow than if a proactive plan was followed. AntiIce has developed a program to enhance reaction time and reduce the amount of material required.

    A: Yes, AntiIce has proven to be very effective on shopping mall, institutions and residential properties. Property managers have found it very effective and cost efficient. It helps reduce the maintenance of mechanical doors, elevators and escalators caused by sand and salt applications.

    A: Calcium based AntiIce is a safe and environmentally friendly product that can be used year round.

    • Safe to use and not a restricted material in transport
    • Significantly less toxic than magnesium chloride; Calcium Chloride is a common food ingredient found in beer, cheese, canned tomatoes, olives, cherries and pickles
    • Less toxic to aquatic life than oil, lignosulfonate and dish soap
    • Does not bioaccumulate or have the potential to contaminate the food chain
    • May be 80-90% less corrosive than road salt
    • Penetrates the road surface quickly and doesn’t leave an oily or powdery residue after its use
